As we fly on air planes quite often we may have to experience the turbulent situations. captain makes the safety announcements. Flight attendants run to their specified seats after making sure everyone is engaged with seat belts and all. The few minutes that we have to go through the turbulence can be a scary experience to most of us. Flight attendant smiles, but scared at the same time.
When all these things happens pilot will increase the velocity and lift the plane up above the turbulence . When it is above the ‘dark clouds ‘ and ‘ gushing winds ‘ we feel totally safe. Even though the ‘ issue ‘ is still there we don’t have to be scared anymore because our ‘fear ‘
Is totally under our feet now.
If Jesus controls our lives , even if we may have to go through the’ difficult situations’ in life we don’t have to be scared. Because He can lift us up and put us on solid ground , where there is no place for fear at all. But many times we forget about the ‘powerful shelter ‘ that we do have to access with.
Disciples did the same mistake when Jesus was with them in the turbulent boat. They did not think that the master with them is the same God who created the sea and the wind. As long as Jesus is with us all the’ storms , dark clouds, raging waves, everything is going to subdue to his command.And we will reach our ‘destination’ safe and secure.
