Not guilty…… still

Biju Abraham Atlanta.

Recently I came across with a video of a man from the state of Louisiana. Archie Williams an African American gentleman was wrongly sent to the jail for a crime which he never committed. He was sentenced for long eighty years for raping a white female. All his arguments to prove his innocence did not work out. He had to spend 37 long years in prison without even
Parole or probation. He himself knew he did not do the crime. In order to keep his mind healthy he started singing in jail. Later they found this serial rapist whose finger print matched and released Mr Williams after long 37 seven years of prison life. He appeared before the American audience and sang a song “ don’t let sun go down on me “ and the audience could not control their tears. If there are people cry for a man not even related to them. How much more we must be caring for a “Man “who was not guilty of any of the charges ,were thrown against Him. At the age of 33 and half years he was accused with, treason, blasphemy and all kinds of crimes which never took place. The authorities found him “ not guilty “ still in order to please the prevailing religious dictators He was thrown to the mob who were screaming for His death knowing not really what they were doing. Jesus had to go through the horrible tortures and agony for the accused crime which He never did. He suffered for our iniquities sins and for all the consequences that we had to face or to pay for.He paid the unique y price

than anything , “His own precious life” for you and me. We must be thankful rather indebted every minutes of our lives to Jesus because of Him we are redeemed.
Because of Him we have a Glorious Hope of eternity. Let us live for Him. God bless.
